Our meetings were entirely online for this assessment, with the exception of our meeting when we gave a presentation. In addition to asynchronous discussion on our wiki, we also used Today'sMeet as a synchronous discussion tool.
In the interests of transparency, and an insight into how decisions were made in our group, our original home page has been left intact as a record of our group processes as they extended beyond page histories, edits and specific topic discussions.
Roz (again) - don't think we need Appendices really considering how we have set this up. Also think our original order is fine really! Sorry can't do anymore now but will check Twitter later in case anyone wants me to do anything.
Roz - I think I'll have some time to play with this, this morning so am happy to try and sort out! I think we need to leave in the group charter so might put it as a new page after that. Other maintenance I have thought about - remove pages 13, 14, additional 5 and 7 at on bottom as I think they are repeats. I'm out of action from 1pm today though.
Here is the order more or less agreed on Tuesday...I have not had any luck changing pages, so will leave to a WIKI EXPERT:
QUESTION: Are we deleting the contents of this page or can we move it to "working documents"? I don't like to think ABB might open this as our first page as it's really our notes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mandy
1. Exec Summary (we currently have 2 of these?)
2. Introduction
3. Key Features
4. Justification
5. Rationale
6. References
7. Glossary
8. Appendices (includes all working documents) (i.e. all the other pages are hidden here!)
Roz - sorry can't get to todays meet notes so not sure of last idea about order of pages but is this page staying as is or??? Let me know if I can do anything here. Trying to finish other assignment (with headache from hell) but will be on Twitter.
Hey Mandy - I think if we can get it to be in working documents that would look more professional re: presentation but i have no idea how to move it. That said if we can't I don't think it's going to be the end of the world - ABB is gonna be here for our writing not for our home page, y'know? :) Denise, you around? - SC
Hi Sarah, you had this sorted before I go to it! great work!
NEWS
This space is for news about the group. Consider it like our home page - a place for announcements and news. To add sometime, edit the page put your item at the top so things stay in date order, just like our blogs. - SG
26/05/09 - Reorganisation of the Wiki + Logo
The Wiki has been reorganised numerically to reflect the assessment criteria and logical order that any additional pages should go in.
I've also written the introduction page.
Any Wiki experts among us - the bottom 3 pages seem to have duplicated themselves when I was reordering the other pages - any idea how to fix this?
Oh, and I designed us a logo. If anyone particularly hates it we can always restore to default :)
- SC
Roz - love this little fella logo Sarah. Great work! I put a discussion up on this page on Saturday mentioning the logo but also some other ideas. Don't know if there are other things we can do.
Thanx also for reorganising the wiki.
Same DL
23/05/09 - Presentation at Uni
Presentation successfully completed as discussed.
Back channelling tool worked very well (script saved for our reference when completing the wiki)
Overall felt it was very good response from other students.
Had lunchtime discussion re completion of our sections for the wiki which is anticipated for Tuesday 26/05/09
Next meeting - Tuesday 26/05/09 on Todays Meet at 6.30pm
Mandy - love the edutweet birdy - so cute!!! (BTW, I say edutweet, some say EduTweet and others Edutweet. Can we decide on one tonight at meeting and then I'll go through and fix on all pages...! Have also added Twitter video and will add The Twitter Experiment too...is there a prettier way to add them in? I think it as it reads edutweet. But naturally we will go with majority DL Roz - Actually didn't really think about it until now but tend to agree with Denise - like it in lower case.
Also, suggested order for the pages:
1. Exec Summary (we currently have 2 of these?)
2. Introduction
3. Key Features
4. Justification
5. Rationale
6. References
7. Glossary
8. Appendices (includes all working documents) (i.e. all the other pages are hidden here!)
19/05/09 - Meeting notes
1) Discussion was centred around the content that each of us had added to this wiki and any obvious changes were required.
2) ideas for Saturday's presentation were also addressed.
Final decision focused on using Todays Meet as a back channel tool while the presentation was in progress. Roles for the presentation were:
Sarah - Introduction
Roz - brief on key features and additional tools used
Sarah - invite everyone to join Todays Meet to participate in back channelling
(Narinder to moderate, others to rove around the room when not presenting in order to assist others)
Mandy - talk to rationale
Denise - Talk to the blueprint
Shelley - discuss the design elements
Display any necessary diagrams (eg examples of tools for deeper thinking, blue print, design elements) during presentation as well as show the activity in Todays Meet.
During the presentation, if necessary Narinder would interpret the presenters when questions from Todays Meet required more detailed response.
Q&A - both at end and during the presentation.
12/05/09 - Meeting notes
Just briefly. We concluded that our community will be focused on corporate adult educators, but open for all to join.
Roles defined as:
Roz - key features
Sarah - justification
Narinder + Mandy - rationale
Shelley - design elements
Denise - blueprint
Words, about 500.
Next meeting is Tuesday at 6.30pm in the same place
Hope this is right all. Please feel free to add anything I've missed.
11/05/09 - Meeting notes from tonight available
The notes from our meeting tonight are available on the Group Meeting Notes and Details page. Denise will be adding a diagram to the notes tomorrow. ( Made a Models Page. Busy making page missed the update! ) Learning Community Model Ideas . These are our thoughts so far and are by no means permanent (especially as two of us were unable to make it). - SG
11/05/09 - Home Page Structure Changed
I have made our home page a place where our latest announcements can be posted, blog style so we can all keep up with what is happening. This means if you do something that needs communicating to the group, just add the text like what's here so we can all see it when we come to the site. I hope this is ok. Denise, this meant I moved the meetig agenda to the Group Meeting Notes and Details page. This was intended to crete future structure as more starts happening rather than create offence, so I hope I haven't upset you. I really appreciate you starting the agenda too by the way. - SG
10/05/09 - First Meeting Time Finalised
Informal Chat 7.00 pm Monday using todaysmeet. Any available members of the Team. Group Meeting 6.30pm Tuesday using todaysmeet. Refer to Discussion for link. All Team members.

09/05/09 - New Pages on Left Sidebar
Hey everyone!
I have started assigning some pages to our wiki so our discussions around content can become more focussed. I will leave most of this for after our meetings as they will define our assessment structure. For the time being, please look at the left side of the screen for the administrative type pages I've got up there.
Also, it's a wiki, so feel free to edit and play, you can't break anything and I don't "own" the pages because I started them.
